    hulkster HULK SMASH!

Semi-interesting Slashdot Article about some guys who want to do some thermal testing of computer racks - power density in a single rack of over 20 KWatts - that's over 150 amps - wow!

Boy, wouldn't I love them to use Folding@HOME and rack up a few points for my powderglass team ... but I thought I'd post here in case any MG'ers want to pursue it for their team - we all win/benefit from Folding.

Hmm, cool. There is an easy way to dedicate 20 or so PCs to folding without needing to worry about cooling.

They got no cases, so they don't need cooling. (appart from CPU fans, that is).

I'm always looking for old PCs to start my own little cluster :)

goldy, there are a bunch (and I mean a LOT) under the stairs at school. Theyre the ones which connect hutchinsons room to the cantine, if you know where I mean.Im sure if you offered them £500 or so, you could pick up a fair few ;)
