For the last few months i have been trying to slim down windows 10 for just basic video and gaming application's.So far when i try to slim it down in windows 10 64 bit Pro it seems to slow it down.

Is there a good guide to remove all of the junk that is not needed in windows ten.

I feel that there is a lot going on in the back round that i either can't see or find.

Be cause i have been through this inside and out and it still seems to be like a hog some times.

    Hi

Windows 10 does a good job of managing itself and services, not that it may not need a hand also, but whats your PC specs as one of the bigger slowdowns in low to mid spec PCs that upgrade to Win10 is Cortana, disable her, also try this advice HERE

I have been looking in service's option for the last hour and found a lot of UN-needed services that i don't even use.Like for instance X box live i don't even have a X box.I gave up on console systems after PS 2 they just got to be way too costly in my opinion. And a lot of the games turn out to be crap.

Seems to be running a bit smoother now.A lot of the stuff i saw either i put it as a Manuel trigger or disabled it.And my Wi-Fi connection is now getting up to 35Mbps.Just from disabling all the non use less junk.Windows 10 is a good OS but Lacking major privacy.

Have a look at Black Viper's Win 10 'safe' configurations:

Yes i have and i think i did a better job at slimming it down.

I think what most people don't realize is that a lot of OS system are different in there own way.He might have a similar list to mine but mine is different than yours as well.I have a different setup then he does. But yes i know what most of it does from windows xp.

And the sad thing is they said they were going to X out xp but it still seems it is still with us in a away.

A lot of the windows configurations are the same in many ways. But most people don't realize it.

Yes I get what you're saying but he has only come up with 'safe' suggestions so far that wont cause users any known issues, so the changes are limited. Anything more cutting could be done by someone, as you have, and test it.
If you look back at his configurations for all earlier OSs, he always has two further configurations depending on user mode of use that are more aggressive.
Since 10 (apart from Previews limited to very few users) has only been out for a short while on public release it will be a while before he shows further suggestions.
But I'm sure the whole point of service modifications is to speed a box up not slow it down.
