    Hi Guys

I followed the Read & Run guidance and attach the logs here. TDSKiller processed 317 objects and Found no threats, so no log for that

I've been having major slow running and hangs on this Maxdata pc for a while. I installed extra memory recently taking it to max available. Made little difference and still having problems with glitchy things like Word docs and Excel sheets have to be clicked twice to open (1st click just launches Word/Excel with no open document.

I run CCleaner and Smart Defrag or Auslogics defrag at least weekly, Avast antivirus and ZoneAlarm firewall.

Any help or advice gratefully received. Thanks, Andy

You can rerun Hitman and remove all the PUP's, but otherwise, you are not having a malware problem. Your logs are clean. I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Many thanks TimW - that's good news that its not malware. I'll work through the other recommended stages and then follow up in the software forum as you suggest. :)

I also have major problems with my HP pc, which won't operate in normal mode for more than a few minutes if lucky - Soon as it gets started on anything it just hangs. I've tried running the same Read & Run guidance to post logs but even they just hang, and some won't run in safe mode. (win XP pro) Should I post what I can get to run?

    Thanks again, Andy
