    I have been having slow startups for a couple of months now and more recently freezing during use. I followed your instructions in the malware removal thread and MBAM found quite a few entries that were deleted. All my logs are attached. I'd appreciate it if you could review them and see what else needs to be done. Thanks a lot.

    http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/9659/rktigzy.gif Fix items using RogueKiller.

    Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    When it opens, press the Scan button
    Now click the file tab and locate these detections:

    • [ZeroAccess][File] @ : C:\WINDOWS\Installer\{2e419048-ecf4-56db-1c47-3f0634bcd3c1}\@ [-] --> FOUND
    • [ZeroAccess][File] @ : C:\Documents and Settings\Cher\Local Settings\Application Data\{2e419048-ecf4-56db-1c47-3f0634bcd3c1}\@ [-] --> FOUND
    • [ZeroAccess][Folder] U : C:\WINDOWS\Installer\{2e419048-ecf4-56db-1c47-3f0634bcd3c1}\U [-] --> FOUND
    • [ZeroAccess][Folder] U : C:\Documents and Settings\Cher\Local Settings\Application Data\{2e419048-ecf4-56db-1c47-3f0634bcd3c1}\U [-] --> FOUND
    • [ZeroAccess][Folder] L : C:\WINDOWS\Installer\{2e419048-ecf4-56db-1c47-3f0634bcd3c1}\L [-] --> FOUND
    • [ZeroAccess][Folder] L : C:\Documents and Settings\Cher\Local Settings\Application Data\{2e419048-ecf4-56db-1c47-3f0634bcd3c1}\L [-] --> FOUND
    Place a checkmark each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.
    When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
    Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

    Please re run Hitman and have it delete Malware, Malware remnants & Potential Unwanted Programs.

    Now re run RK, just a scan, and attach the log.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

    Let me know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running now!

    I had no issues with the scans and fixes. Here are the logs. Last night at shut down windows attempted to install two updates at shutdown but was not successful. After I post this reply I'll shut down and see if they will install now. I'll let you know how that goes. Thanks as always - you guys are the best.

    Let me know how you get on. The logs look good though. I may have to send you off to the software forum for additional support.
