Slow boot and svchost.exe

Hello there,

Yesterday I rebooted my PC and it took alot longer than usual for all the programs to start once Windows had loaded.

I cannot seem to find the problem, but I have noticed that svchost.exe is taking alot more memory than it used to (25-30% when idle).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, other than as one of many tools our malware experts use, we are not a hijack this reading forum.

If you do suspect you are having problems with Malware, you will need to follow all instructions in READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide and then post the requested logs in the Malware Removal forum.

If you do not think you are having malware problems, you should describe, in as much detail as possible, the problems you are having, when they started, if you had installed anything that may be causing it.

One thing that can cause slow boot up are what you have starting when you start up your computer.
