Slow browsing and Vundo/AOY

I am using 256kbps internet connection, but for last 20 days, i am having download speed issues. I am getting speeds as low as 8kBps-22kBps....from sites which earlier used to give me 30KBps...

I have tried bandwidth speed testing which also gives me variable speeds.
But shud add that between 1 am till arn afternoon...i get appropriate spped..

My internet provider claims that something is wrong at my side.
I formatted my PC. and using avast wid its real time scanner.

It found out that my pc is infected wid Vundo.

I also tried PC Tools Spyware Doctor, which found Trojan Agent AOY.

I would be following the procedure mentioned in read and run me first.

But before that i wanted to know ca these viruses affect my internet speed, so that i can talk to my Internet provider.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

• Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around..

• CounterSpy Log - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
• AVG Antispyware Log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy. - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
• Bitdefender Log - from step 6
• Panda Scan Log - from step 6
• runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
• newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
• HijackThis Log

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!
