Please indicate what you mean by the online scans will not work. How far did you get?
What error messages did you receive? Based on your HJT log, it does not look like you even tried to run them.

Also it looks like you did not run other steps in the READ ME
    - MS Windows Defender
    - possibly Spybot S & D (at least it is not installed exactly as requested)
    - also in step 0 we strong suggest uninstalling MessengerPlus! 3

You must attach full unedited HijackThis logs. Yours has been edited and will not be used. Please attach a complete unedited log after completing all steps in the READ ME.

Spybot - i didnt do the IE bad download thing because I have norton and it seems like another evil thing
the online things said I needed IE, I use FF
messenger plus - I dont have the sponsor program installed, I told it not to during setup
and as for HJT, what's wrong with the log?

Yes but you need to use IE and run the scans. It is a required step IE is still a required program on your PC that you will need at times. In fact, without it, you cannot get your Windows updates. But if you do not want to run them, that's fine. Suit yourself but just know there is nothing in your HJT log that shows any real malware problems. Just minor issues are seen. HJT logs are not that useful in finding all malware problems. Your problems could just be you are running too much stuff.

The process for HijackThis does not even show in the process list. This is impossible unless the log was edited or filtered.
