Kay. So I ran CCleaner on 4 out of 5 profiles, because my brother who's at college won't tell me his password. That's why most of the things in the Panda scan are cookies from his profile.

I ran Spybot in Safe Mode, but then had to switch to normal boot to update CounterSpy, after which I ran CounterSpy in Safe Mode, followed by BitDefender and Panda Active Scan as well as runKey and showNew as per your directions.

Then....... I said... "They said I'll need six logfiles.. I've only got 5... What's the last one? Oh yeah.. HJT." So I ran that... and only afterward figured out I was supposed to rename the exe. Damn. I was doing so good too. Well... I renamed it and made a new logfile, but I don't know if that helps. So... Hopefully I don't have Vundo.:cry

Can you tell me if there are evil processes running on my computer that are causing the slowness?

    Many thanks,

    -J

    Please download
    VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

    * Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
    * Click the Scan for Vundo button.
    * Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
    * You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
    * Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
    * When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
    * Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the
Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.
Also attach a new ShowNew log.

Your logs are clean. You may uninstall any software we had you dowmload.

As to your system being slow. You may wish to post in the software section..check what items are running at startup ..and check what is running in the background.

These can be uninstalled (as you have removed that anti-virus software):
    LiveUpdate 3.0 (Symantec Corporation)
    Symantec Network Drivers Update
