I posted this on the hardware forum too, cause at first i thought it might be some issues with my graphic card but now im not so sure anymore. SORRY FOR THAT!

Ive been trying to get my pc back to work after 4 days and i keep failing at it. I recentley bought a new video card, this one:http://www.club-3d.com/productshow_v...=&filter=&l=en

and i did everything the instructions said but once i start the cd and want to install the driver, i keep getting an error saying its not compatible with my current driver and it has to close down the installation.
Ive already tried removing the old driver before i installed the new one but it doesnt work. So i tried sth. else..i downloaded the version 91.45 driver from www.laptopvideo2go.com like a friend of mine told.. i did that and the error didnt come up this time.Everything was installed. The problem now is, my computer shuts down, runs, estarts VERY SLOW since i installed it and ive tried like everything these 4 days. I ran everything from virusscans to spyware scans (ad aware, spybot S&D etc, managed to find some spyware but stil the same problem, its slow as hell!! I re-installed windows exp for the third time now,did everything again, and i got the same results.. starting to loose it :D
Is it possible that my computer just isnt able to support this new graphic card?
Here's all the information about my computer.

Can i post my hijack this logfile?

i also bought extreme power 430 Watt and some proffesional installed it into my computer. Just so you know...

    im desperate!!

    Neeeeed Helppppppppppppp

    thnx in advance,

    Bye

Another thing i noticed, My CPU was around 100% most of the time, and after i saw another thread about it, i checked to see if i too had several run32dlls running in the background and i did..so i killed the proces and my cpu is now going up and down but not reaching the 100% alot.

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
    • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
    • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
    • CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
    • Bitdefender - from step 6
    • Panda Scan - from step 6
    • HijackThis

I cant edit the other posts so i have to create another sorry.
When i open my taskmanager, i see that my CPU=100% most of the time. I checked to see what was running and i saw 5-6 svchost.exe running and taking up all cpu sometimes. I searched on the net and some1 said sth about running isp fixers. I dont know what that is, but i dont want to do stupid things. Could u tell me sth about isp fixers? would it help my problem?
this is the site im checking atm: http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/svchost.exe.html

i found out in my taskmanager that this programm called isass.exe is running. I checked what it was and its a trojan!
    info: http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/isass/
how can this be? i ran every virusscan there was in that thread.
Im gonna try to get this thing of my computer, but i just hope its not saved in the restore system. If it is, should i remove it, then disable restore system, reboot and enable restore system again?is that correct?

Boot to Safe Made. Delete teh following:
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp\TMP000000072F056D70DD0CB5B8
    C:\Documents and Settings\Obaydollah Mir\Local Settings\Temp\xx25
    C:\Documents and Settings\Obaydollah Mir\Local Settings\Temp\xx26
    C:\Documents and Settings\Obaydollah Mir\Local Settings\Temp\xx4
    C:\Documents and Settings\Obaydollah Mir\Local Settings\Temp\xx5
    C:\Documents and Settings\Obaydollah Mir\Local Settings\Temp\xx6

    Run CCleaner

    Reboot

Other thna that your log show no malware.

5-6 copies of svchost running is normal. You are probably seeing the System Idle Process showing 100%, that's normal also.

Couldnt find any of those files on my computer, guess they are already gone.
Any idea why my cpu is around 100% all the time? and my restarts and overall performance is so low? It only gets better after i reboot out of stand-by, i dont understand why it works perfect only then.
    thnx for checking my logs

What processes are using CPU time? If your System Idle Process is peaking at 100%, that's normal. System Idle is just that your CPU is idle. If it's processes belonging to Norton, that's normal. Norton places a huge demand on System Resources and you will experience sytem performance issues.

here ill show u some of the screenshots i took from taskmanager.
one is when the computer starts up,one is after the startup, and another when i go out of standby (works perfect then)
and another thing, i understand the idle proces, but thats not what i mean. idle process is at 0% most of the time, all the other processes take the cpu
    Hope you can help me
    thnx so far

EDIT cant attach the file cause i already posted it in software forum, but here is the link u can download it from: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=100787&page=2

While you have an active thread in Malware you should not be starting threads in other forums about the same problem.

It must first be determined that Malware is not the cause of the problem before posting elsewhere.

    Download to your Desktop
    ISeeYouXP.zip

Extract the contents of ISeeYouXP.zip to your Desktop. Double-click on ISeeYouXP.bat.

Notepad will open, wait until the batch file is finished. Close Notepad. Attach ISeeYouXP.txt. Which is located in the root folder of Drive C.

I did all of that malware removal thing, and besides the things you listed in this thread, there were no malware. So i thought it might be something with my windows xp, thats why i posted in the software forum. Sorry for that.
Anyway here is my I See you text file.
Another thing, i cant open my hotmail, nor can i see the ATTACH management button on my computer. So i guess i still have virusses even AFTER all of that malware removal thing? should i post another hijackthis log? im posting from another computer at the moment.
    Thnx for replys

ISeeYou shows nothing out of the ordinary.

    Download Blacklight Beta from here:
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/F-Secure_BlackLight_d5156.html
    • Download blbeta.exe and save it to the Desktop.
    • Once saved... double click blbeta.exe to install the program.
    • Click accept agreement and Click scan
This app too may fire off a warning from antivirus. Let the driver load.
      Wait for it to finish.
    • If it displays any items...don't do anything with them yet. Just hit exit (close)
    • It will drop a log on Desktop that starts with fsbl....big number
    Please post contents of log.

Your logs are coming back clean.

The buttons on that site are most likely flash buttons, install Shockwave Flash.

You must be more specific! Which other processes? Name them and also give the percent of CPU that they are using.

What I would recommend at this point it to uninstall Symantec completely (don't try disabling from loading, that will not have the same effect). Then reboot and tell us if you are still having problems. Do not operate for too long without an anitvirus in place, but if this cure your problems, see the tools in the below link and use them to replace Symantec:
