Slow Computer

    HP Laptop very slow. I followed the instructions on XP Cleaning Procedure. Attached are two of the logs. I will post the other two shortly.

    I would appreciate a review to see if malware is causing my poor computer performance.

    Sorry but your problem is not malware. You have a relatively slow processor and are trying to run Windows XP with one-quarter of the amount of memory that I would recommend. Your logs shows the below:

    Total Physical Memory 256.00 MB
    Available Physical Memory 65.05 MB

    You should have 1 GB ( that is 4 x 256 MB that you have) and since you only have 65 MB free, your system is going to crawl at a snail's pace.
