Slow Dell Latitude XP SP2 - Malware?

This is a new laptop that was running fine and recently started running very slowly in all programs. I'm wondering if it could be malware of some sort or perhaps some program that was downloaded inadvertantly that's running in background and slowing things down.

I ran through the steps in READ ME FIRST. When bitdefender got done, I received an error msg which kicked me out before I could get a log. Attached is the HJT log along with a screen-shot of the Processes running on the station.

Any ideas you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

If you had run the READ ME, you would have installed and renamed HJT properly which you did not do. Please do this now. Also you have attach the below logs that were requested. HJT is the last log required. I know you commented on why BitDefender was not attached but there are other require logs.

CounterSpy - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users

AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy. - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users

Bitdefender - from step 6

Panda Scan - from step 6

runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat

newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat

NOTE: You problems may just be due to running Symantec and other software you are running!!

Also we do not need a PDF snapshot of your running proceses. That is what HijackThis already shows in its process list.
