slow down

Im still at nerd level,,not geek yet,,,,after being online,mostly ebayand google,,my xp loads up w/track cookies,I run adaware ,delete them and it runs alot faster,,BUT,I can reeboot,and itll run alot faster,,,especially after I clean house,,,,,history,files,cookies...I used to have to do this about once every 6 hours with about 7 or 8 t cooks,,,,,but now Im having to do this every 3 hours with 18 to25 t.cooks....I know alot of peiple dont believe t. cooks are harmless and doesnt effect performance,but they are not on my end of the keyboard,,,any input would be appreciated...
I have gotten into my (hidden files ) before to get spy falcon out,,AND HATS OFF to you guys for the instructions for this..I followed VERY carefully and it worked like a charm,,,THANKS MUCH

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:

• CounterSpy
• AVG Antispyware Log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy
• Bitdefender - from step 6
• Panda Scan - from step 6
• runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
• newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
