slow download. why?

    trying to download some of the recommended software to protect my computer (i.e. ZoneAlarm) and i'm getting download speeds of 10-20 KB/sec on a cable connection! never had this problem before. recently finished the READ & RUN ME instructions and got a clean bill of health after some major cleaning with assistance here.

    Could be a busy server. Are your downloads consistently slow everywhere else?

    i think it is just the server. i managed to download Zone Alarm directly no problem. it seems the server links from MG are slow, that's all. thanks!

    Might have been a router issue on the internet somewhere, which is why we offer multiple servers. It is not at all uncommon for an issue nowhere near you to affect your downloads becuase you have to pass through a problem area. Just FYI :)
