slow firewall startup

curious as to the amount of time it takes for commodo firewall to become active,
having only recently installed it,and i noticed it was one of the last programs to load on boot up:confused, does this in any way leave my system vunerable during startup as i leave adsl on always or does it start and then notify later? maybe not an issue but i'm feeling a bit paranoid at the moment, and need reassuring,

 

There is no danger as long as you're not on the Internet. That's when the security software must be in place and running. Perhaps StartUpLite from Malwarebytes' can help you with taking the load of your start function.
