I have a network with 2 servers and 5 clients. I just upgraded from NT 4.0 to 2000 server. I also reinstalled 2000 server on my other server. Now when I boot any of the clients running XP Professional it takes 2 or 3 minutes to boot up. It seems to hang at the user settings screen. Also when I try to open a shared folder or file on one of my servers it just sits there for a minute or 2 and opens it sometimes and other times it times out.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
    Thanks,

Thanks. I'll read those and give it a try and post back this weekend to let you know how it went.

I ended up reinstalling server 2000. Now the clients boot up a lot faster. I still have the slow network resources. When you try to access a shared folder, it works great at first, then it just slows way down. If you reboot the client it is fast again for about a half hour and then slows way down. Network traffic is very light.
    Any ideas?
