Since letting someone use my computer for the past month, when I boot up, the CPU runs near 100%.

I ran all steps from http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407
and now things are much better, but still slower than when I used the machine by myself.

I didnt post my hijackthis log since the instructions said to wait until asked. There are 2 accounts on the machine. When I boot up in SAFE MODE, I see one of these accounts plus admin account, so if you need me to run hijackthis, please let me know in what mode, and if you need it run in more than one account.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...

Thanks for taking the time to help. Attached is my log run under one of the 2 existing ID's.

I have Windows NT, Win2000, and XP on this machine. I ran this under XP which is the OS we were using.

Thanks so much for your input. As I said, things are much better, but I guess they still didnt seem as fast as they originally were due to my wishing I hadn't lent out the computer in the first place.

I appreciate yout time aqnd help,
