    Hello,
PROBLEM: Our Dell 8250 is very slow. What may be of importance, when I was trouble shooting the issue I accessed a windows account that we never use. When I logged in a windows error popped up, it said,

"RunDLL32.exe -entry point not found. The procedure entry point fhrxop could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll. Error leading IEDKCS32.DLL -

    Maybe this is a clue???

I googled "RunDLL32.exe" error and your forum came up. I followed the Basic Malware Removal, here are the results:

    1. After running the basic removal advice, I thought the computer was fixed. Howerver, once I use either firefox (most recent release) or explorer7, the problems returned. That is, the computer is still unstable: loading slow, shutting down slow, not shutting down properly, etc. Oddly, I also noticed when I used explorer or firefox (both home pages are set to google) on the bottom left of the browser window a brief message said, "downloading program ...". This only happenes once, right after the malware removal steps. It seemed like once that happened the computer got very slow.

To test the above theory, I re-ran the basic malware removel steps and found the computer to be running better. I then (for the first time) used the MSN browser. Interestingly, I can use MSN on-line and the computer does not seem effected once I return to the hard drive. Howerver, I have not gone back to google; I probably does not make sence, but I was thinking maybe the url could be triggering some spyware????

    SCANS and LOGS:
I have attached the Activescan Log and the HJT Log.

Any advice you could give would be really appreciated.
    thanks
