    Hi,

    My system is running slowly, and I have run the Vista cleaning procedure. When running RootRepeal, the screen looked as in the jpg attached, so I closed the small dialog. When I returned later to save a log, the program was closed, so the log I have attached is empty.

    When clicking the MGtools file it ran the scan so I didn't also run Getlogs.bat as described in the instructions.

    I have reenebled UAC after running the MGtools.

    Thanks for helping me!

    Your logs are clean. I suggest that you post in the software forum and look at removing some items. You are a bit on the overkill side with all of this running:
    AV: AVG Anti-Virus Free *On-access scanning enabled* (Updated) {17DDD097-36FF-435F-9E1B-52D74245D6BF}
    FW: ZoneAlarm Firewall *disabled* {829BDA32-94B3-44F4-8446-F8FCFF809F8B}
    SP: AVG Anti-Virus Free *enabled* (Updated) {17DDD097-36FF-435F-9E1B-52D74245D6BF}
    SP: Spybot - Search and Destroy *disabled* (Outdated) {ED588FAF-1B8F-43B4-ACA8-8E3C85DADBE9}
    SP: SUPERAntiSpyware *disabled* (Updated) {222A897C-5018-402e-943F-7E7AC8560DA7}
    SP: Windows Defender *enabled* (Updated) {D68DDC3A-831F-4FAE-9E44-DA132C1ACF46}
    SP: ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware *enabled* (Outdated) {F245A209-1085-48B4-B927-35D56015EC60}

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no real-time protection. They are useful as backup scanners.They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore ato create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
