   Hi,
   
   I have followed all the tips in 'pc maintanance' thread.
   
   I followed all the steps in 'optimise xp' and now everything seems slower especially boot up.
   
   I also installed zone alarm pro (trial) which seems to slow everything down the most i think.
   
   Can anyone help and or suggest why?

   If you did a disk cleanup it can slow down your computer. That happened to me once before but it will eventually get faster.
