Smartsound quicktracks plugin

I have done searchs and cannot find a fix for my problem. I have several programs, that when I try to start a windows installer pops up and says it's trying to install smartsound quicktracks plugin, but cannot continue until I insert some disk that I don't have.

I have tried to do some cleanup in "add/remove programs" and the same thing happens. I found a windows installer cleanup utility on Microsoft site.....downloaded and tried to install and can't.....it pops an error 1500 saying another application is busy being installed and theres not.....??

anyone run scross this problem?

nevermind, I got it fixed.......I rebooted and hurried up and got the utility installed

 

Glad you got it sorted..... it probably wasn't malware related so if the issue returns you should try posting in the Software forum.
