Smearing proud Parent around...

Hello all, I just wanted to stop in and say hello, as this weekend is going to be insanely busy. My friend has a wedding and has made is incredibaly inconvenient for me to attend by banning both children and dates (read: a ride) and making it in Utica -

So Friday I have to take my daughter to my father's in Groton, and clean my whole house. Saturday I have to go to this wedding which doesnt start until 5pm meaning i'll be there until midnight and Sunday I get to organize a Birthday party with 12 screaming brats and a gaggle of adults who all despise eachother.

Yay.

BUT that means, my adorable wonderful and deceptively evil daughter will turn FIVE on Sunday. Five years... it just astounds me. I mean... she's still alive... and I did that. she's going to Kindergarten in 3 weeks and has learned just in time how to MOON people... so I cant wait for that phone call... But, in the meantime, here is my adorable daughter, and anyone who wants to send her an e-card PM me for the ADDY or send it from my website.

 

So in today's zero tolerance world, will they haul her off in handcuffs and charge her with sexually molesting the other kindergardeners?

I don't see any evil there. A lot of cute and sweet. But no evil.

 

The sad truth.

 

I don't have any pictures of evil in action, she's too crafty. I wish I'd taken a picture of the "mural" left over when we moved out, it was seriously a war torn monster invaded country dominated by queen Kahlyn... but I didn't think to. I don't have an actual camera, I have to go buy disposables when I need pictures.

I can't believe she's already going to be five... i mean, she was this little pink piglet who i never thought would stop eating or smiling, and then... i barely even remember her becoming mobile, but one day she was standing there, shirly temple ringlet curls, dancing. Then they grew out and off and we sported a boy cut for nearly 2 years because we thought scissors magically gave us nice haircuts, and now... boom.

She's not ordinary, she's like a small adult just surrounded by this overwheming air of innocence - even her evil is innocent, she doesnt quiet get that it'd bad it's just what she felt like doing at the moment... And now I have to send her out in the world to lose that innocence, because that's what the world strives to take away... and I just dont wanna. I want her to be my little girl forever.

Who gives them permission to grow up? *sniff*

 

It's like a little baby kitten...unfortunately they don't stay that way!!!!!

I didn't give them permission. However, from experience that it isn't really that bad. Mine is now fourteen and so far, thank God, still has the innnocence. Not as much, but most of it is intact. I feel for you and "sniff" for you as well. Hang in there and remember we are there for you.

 

Hey, she's looking cuter with each passing year, so it seems! Seems like I've been watching her grow most of her life (which I just about have, LoL!)

I hope the wedding goes well for ya - you deserve a good time for once. Bummer about all the running around and stuff, though.
