Snow picture, at night!

It started snowing this evening, and before I went to bed, i took a peek out the window. The snow is really sticking to the trees and looks beautiful. I was playing around with my camera a bit and took this shot at a 30 second exposure time. Keep in mind that for the exception of a few lights off in the distance, its pitch black out there. It almost looks like daylight!

30 seconds around here would blow out any details..there's alot of light pollution where I live.
anyway great picture. I miss snow.

I enjoy making pictures of show too... Light shades make me calm and relax. I adore else running on it barefoot..

Magic picture...personally, I can't imagine living in a place where I would wake up to such scenery...don't mind it for holidays, but 'fraid I'm very much a beach all year round person...still though, great pic you've got there

No tripod involved, just a windowsill. My room was hot so I opened her up, removed the screen, and took a few pics while the place cooled down.

I used Photoshop to cut the picture down from 12MP to about a fourth of that for posting, and added my name. My camera is a Casio Exilim EX-Z1200

We get about five good months of the white stuff. I can take it, but I am longing for summer about right now. I'd much rather live on the beach though!
