SnowDay

It snowed at work today, and the weight of the snow on the deciduous trees brought branches down onto power lines all over the Elk Valley. Power went out at 11:15, and we were released just after lunch. So only half a snow day, and I still did the commute. Hmmm. Anyone else getting snow? Anyone? Anyone?

 

Snow? Snow?

It's 80 degrees today.

6C (43F) where I live, and 0C(32F) an hour away at work.

 

i, actually miss snow!!!! we do get snow, on the top of mauna kea, but it is a four wheel drive to the top. i have been several times now, and its a kick to play in the snow in the morning and swim on the beach in the afternoon. mostly though, we just have to deal with 'summer' which lasts all year. hard life

 

No snow here..plenty of rain though. But this is Oregon....if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, as the saying goes

 

No snow, FINALLY! I thought we were never gonna have summer this year. Right now, at almost 12:30am, it's still 79F with 55% humidity.

 

My air conditioner broke last night. I could definitely go for some snow right now.

 

We havent had any snow at all in the lowlands here this year.
although we did get a break from the heat. it's roughly 50 degrees out right now.

 

What is this "snow" you speak of?

 

We`ve no snow...and are in no danger of hurricanes...and while it has been in the mid 80`s and pretty humid...it`s not so bad that in the middle of the day you need to hide indoors next to an a/c unit
