what a freak. Some people give up drinking and then years later go back to it as some sort of midlife crisis. This guy chose murder over booze

All the murders they can pin him to predate Kansas' death penalty, so they won't be able to kill him. I hope he has a long and very unhappy prison stay. "Justice" will happen when he's roasting on a spit in Hell.

What a relief to the families of the victims. I hope they figure out a way to get the death penalty, but putting him away forever is good enough for me.

He'll probably go for an insanity plea

The only justice you get nowdays is they will spend the rest of thier natural life in prison or they will rot in hell. I guess that will have to do for now.

If he fits the profile, I bet he was a great neighbor.

i live just out of wichita. i lived in Wichita for 12 years. so,it is a big relief to have him found. it is all over our news. my d/h is a guard at one of the prisons. he says someone like BTK will serve his term in protective custody. the news says he has a family... i can't imagine the horror his family is living... maybe those of you who pray remember them in your prayers.

Well. Seems I was wrong, most of the people that lived around this nut didn't care for him at all.

whilst I understand your emotions, don't forget that they've been stripped of their freedom.
everything you do is timetabled, you get breakfast at 6, lunch (if you're lucky) at 15, dinner at 18.
want to go outside? fine, but not when you want but when the airing-hour is there.
you don't have any freedom of choice and the way I see it, depriving someone of their freedom is worse than killing him.
you try one week in a prison.

I spent a day in jail.

    Does that count? :D

I agree with what you said, btw. If prison was such a walk in the park, then people wouldn't be avoiding it.

I read that they got some good clues that lead to him from a floppy diskette he had sent to the media. Supposedly it had been used before and most techies know that deleting files from a disk does not actually get rid of them unless written over.
