so everyones looking foward to ep.3 ok

the question I wanna know basically is this.

what if it totally sucks, or, what would it take to make the movie suck?
I dont think that this is possible, episode one was pretty cool, 2 could have used a bit more depth(and new actors for skywalker and the princess), and one or 2 more things but if you think about 2, second movies in trilogies have usually been mostly talk. these are the movies and the point where the series usually gets out the diplomatic/dealing/other story lines, etc. so I kind of feel that alot of people have misjudged 2.
how would you feel if episode 3 sucked?

 

my brother works for lucas arts and he says he's heard some quotes from george lucas saying as how the movies stunk and he only made them for money *shrugz* ... personally I found ep1 entertaining but not very memorable and hardly worth the legacy of the orginal films

well i just finished the book a couple days ago..and it its anything like the book it is going to be one bad ass movie

 

Kevin Smith's review of Episode 3 Some spoilers, but still a good read if you're interested in knowing what to look forward to.

If you don't want to read it for fear of any spoilage, the review basically insists that if you thought Empire was dark, then be prepared for something "a thousand times darker." And that "the only comic moments in the flick are given to R2D2, and while good, they're all pretty few and far between."

 

i heard that some hardcore Star Wars fans are lining up and camping out to be the first to see the movie... That's true, right? Man, they must think, dream, talk and eat Star wars all the time..

And after all that, like what u said, what if the movie sucked? they are going to be PISSED!

I'm a moderate star wars fan and i think it's highly unlikely that the film is gonna "suck."

 

It's going to be rated a 12A in this country, first time that under twelves have to be accompanied by an adult, looks like it's going to be a bit scarier than others, possibly the bit where Anakin turns to the dark side!

 

I doubt it will "suck".

The original Star Wars was wildly innovative, in several ways, and smacked the world between the eyes. It's dificult enough to do a sequel of a great movie and make it as satisfying as the original. Six movies covering two generations of story, filmed over two generations of real life, maintaining ANY level of success and interest is an achievement nobody else has managed. Even if it's not Academy Award material, my hat's off to Lucas.
