so heres a new thought

so hi all

so ive got this old laptop that is not worth anthing but the screen is still good ...and since im goin to be making a case for my pc ...i was woundering how i could add...or use the laptop screen with my pc.... what hardware would i need to make it work...



any ideas would help

 

Hmmm, Well to be honest I don't really think that would be possible as its almost impossible to add new hardware (E.G Graphic Cards) to a laptop p.c.

 

Take the screen, mount it somewhere on the case or whatever... and if uve got a good vid card (that supports dual monitors) just connect the Laptop screen to your graphics card and BAMM!!!! dual display...

 

haha would that really work, becausse I have an old crappy laptop, it couldn't be that simple though? It wouldn't just have a plug to go right into the card would it?

 

You can probably find an adapter or even monster up your own... Either way, this mod is going to end up reletively simple.

 

The easy and cheapest solution is just buy a LCD monitor.
