So what do you think of the new NIN?

I like it! I wasn't even going to bother, since I figured he'd never even come close to creating something as good as The Downward Spiral. The Downward Spiral was just amazing, and I've heard that after releasing that he had a case of writers block, and that why he had'nt released anything since (except for a re-mix, I think).

Anyway, I had a lot of doubts about the new one, but it is really good! If you haven't gotten it yet, go get it. There are some amazing parts, and some pretty OK parts, but none of it sucks. Dave Grohl plays a lot of the drums, and you can totally tell. He brings an awesome heavy rock vibe to it. Some of the heavier songs remind me of the Melvins or Butthole Surfers- heavy/fuzzy guitar.

Anyway, I was super-skeptical, but I love it!

    With Teeth has BITE!

Listening to it on my way home from work in car tonight, Trent has to always better himself in each new album and as you say the Downward Spiral was just superb, even tho I do still love listining to Fixed the remix stuff.

i listened to NIN alot in the early 90's... Pretty Hate Machine was my favorite album... don't know if i'll be picking up the new album as I am mostly into hip hop now and older nostalgic grunge...

i'll definetely be checking out the new Audioslave album when it releases...

I'll probably buy it this weekend.I saw the video to one of the new songs (I don't recall the title because it was too early in the morning) and it was really good. The sound is somewhat like the old NIN.I'm a big fan of The Fragile.I thought that was a really good CD.

Killian the video was probably for that "Hand That Feeds" song... it was the first single off the album
