So, What's Up This Weekend?

So I'm sitting at work, hoppin on here for a minute to delay the task of cleaning up the dirty instruments from the last patient. (I work at a dental office and am pullin double duty this week - office manager AND assistant). After I clean the dirty instruments (and wipe down the whole room), I get to set up for the root canal we're doing in an hour. Then I get to do paperwork until the patient arrives. After the root canal, I get to clean that room and the instruments, take out the trash, and shut down the office. Thus ending another 12+ hour day.

Enough of my I'm-so-tired-pity-me rant. Just curious about what everyone's up to this weekend. Here's what's on my agenda:

Friday: After my comparatively short 8-hour work day, I get to go home and clean my car for later in the weekend purposes. After that, I should do laundry, but I'll probably sleep for about 16 hours. It's been a long week.

Saturday: After sleeping in, I'll go on a church outreach, go shopping to buy things for Sunday, pack for Sunday, fill the car with gas for Sunday, do a bit of housecleaning and laundry, and get some more WONDERFUL sleep.

Sunday: Prepare me, my 8- and 5- year old neices and 7- year old nephew for church, load up the car and go. After church, hop in the car and drive 2 hours to the country. Let the kids run wild on the farm we're staying at while I get everything unpacked. Do farmy things.

The weekend will stretrch out to Tuesday, when we'll leave the country and head back to life as we know it. Well, actually, my dad's picking up the littlest neice on Monday so she can go home and get ready to get her tonsils out. But the rest of us are staying until Tuesday, then Wednesday is back to work (12 hour shift).

Anyway, what are you all doing? (Sorry about the LOOOOONG post, but it was my excuse for a long break :-D )

 

I'm thinking I might try to take v2.0 to Chuck-e-cheese this weekend

lol. Trust me. they burn off anything hey eat at that place..

 

Don't I know it! It may be noisy...it may be crowded...but the joy you get out of watching their faces light up as the run from one thing to another is great! Even better...they're usually exhausted afterword so mom & dad can have some peace and quiet.:cool

As for weekend plans...Other than the usual errands and what not I'm hoping we'll be able to go to the beach again this weekend. We've been trying to do at least one outing a week...moonlight movies at the Sea Walk Pavilion, hiking a nature trail, going to the beach etc. I rode a boogie board for the first time last week...OMG! What a riot! Gonna have to buy a one piece bathing suit before I do that again...sitting in the shallow water trying to get my bathing suit bottoms back into a position that won't get me arrested is not any easy task.:-D

I have no plans, other than trying to keep possession of my car. The payment's overdue and I simply won't have it until the end of next week.

Thus, I am sitting home doing NOTHING. Unless by some miracle of whatever gods there are work pops up, but I'm not holding my breath. I've only done 28 hours over five separate days this whole month (and 12 of them were all in one day).
