SOF 2 Screen problems

I just got SOF 2 Double Helix. It was version 1.00 so I downloaded 1.03 and updated it (it was the Gold Version). Before and after the update the only resolution I can run full screen is 640 x 480. Anything above that oval shapes the screen. If I un- select the full screen in the game I have a regular windows bar across the top. I have a GeForce FX5600 (Albatron) I have tried the 45.23 and 45.24 drivers and all refresh rates from 60 to 85 (my default is 85).

One more thing. My card shows up as a GeForce 1 in the game, but runs well with all the bells and whistles on.

Any ideas?

 

I don't recall seeing those options. I will have to check that out.
