Software crashes and slow start up

    Hi,

    I've been having some problems on my compute and hope you can help.

    I regularly get programs freezing or crashing and my computer seems on the whole slow.

    I have virus checked (bitdefender), spybot and tuneup utilities but none seem to find any problems.

    I am running XP.

    Hijack This sent me your way. Can you help?
