    Hello,
I am looking for a software able to catalog my retrogaming collection. It would be good if available also with a mobile version and the built-in search engine according to the game's name/barcode.

    Which one is your favorite?

You can do that (and more) with a spreadsheet program.

Did you can be more in depth? Any example? I guess it is so generic as answer...

How familiar are you with spreadsheets?

The necessary to reply it is not what I am looking for.

A spreadsheet program can be used as a cataloging or database program.

Like Eldon said you can create a spreadsheet with excel or similar program or you can create a database with access or again something similar

Dears, first of all thanks! I was looking for a solution like Extreme Game Manager able also to fill the information about the game with the database we have online... e.g. by using Amazon or MobyGame.

eXtreme Games Manager costs just 14.95 Euros.

Here's a free program (I have not tried it).

Thank you, I tried it already for Windows (binary) and Arch (Compiling).

The Windows version as all the current ready for installation lacks of scripts feature: the commitment is for the one to built-up via source but it doesn't work.

It looks promising for sure but at the moment, it doesn't work.

GCStar, it is on gitlab: https://gitlab.com/Kerenoc/GCstar

If you see on the releases' comments, the last commits fix the issues about the search but there is no binary for that.
