I need to know if it's possible to extract a software program from my HDD and place that onto a CD? For instance, can I somehow take an installed game from my HDD and package it, so I can extract it to another HDD and use it? I hope I'm making sense.:confused

nope, it's not possible. when you install programs (your game included), it also writes stuff to the registry as well. if you had an .exe file (installer), then yes it would work. - sos
