software install codes

I have a hard drive from another computer in my computer to format it so I can reprogram the drive back in it's own computer. It has office on it too and if I had the code for it I could put it back as well since I have a disk for it. It was a business computer that they sold to an employee when they dismantled the office and it won't boot to windows due to being password protected so I can't get in that way to get the code. He was not an office employee so he did not have a password for it plus it had to be connected to the network to verify passwords to get into windows. So that is why I can't log into it but the code for the office belongs to that computer. Is there a way to get the code from the drive while using it as a secondary drive in another computer?

 

I did not ask my question clearly. I want to find the install number for microsoft office that is on the drive so I can put that back too. I have the code for windows on the side of the computer so reprogramming is not a problem once I get rid of the program that is stopping it while it is inside it's own computer.
