Software issues with XP

    I have a 2004 Dell Deminsion 8400 with XP Home Edition operating system. When trying to install 12,000 recipes, dream interpretures, Mahjongg and 2,000 borders and backgrounds. There are others, but all state windows XP compatible. This is the error that I receive:

    16 bit window subsystem
    C:\windows\system 32\auto exec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. Choose (close) to terminate the application
