Software Or Hardware Problem?

When I try to open many programmes, a blank screen appears instead. I haven't found anything else to do than reset my ATV. Additionally, the content rating for many shows is persistent. Restarting is also necessary to get rid of this. Last but not least, the remote occasionally ignores most commands, causing me to utilise the "home" button to exit everything and restart at the main menu.

Does anyone else experience these problems almost constantly? Exchange is easy because I'm still within my return window. Before I did, I merely wanted to make sure the programme wasn't flawed. I appreciate your thoughts on the subject in advance.

Sounds like you're referring to a television. See if there is a way to update the firmware. Many times the TV's built-in software for streaming content sucks. If an update doesn't fix it but you can stream on other devices just fine, return it if you're unhappy. Or maybe use a different device that can connect to the TV for streaming (Apple TV, Roku stick, etc.).

It isn't clear what you are referring to. Is this a channel, or a type of television as the previous poster thought? When I looked it up, it seems it could be a TV/Streaming channel.

I guess the OP meant ATV as android tv. I just discovered in the past week that there are actually 3 different smart tv flavors. One operates under android, one under google and one under Samsung.
Please post the brand and exact model of tv you are using so we know if it is in fact using android or one of the other flavors.
