Software request

Hi, I've been looking for a program for a while now. I've found it once, but with an expensive monthly fee, which I think is too steep for its usefulness. I searched the MajorGeeks database, but couldn't find anything similar.
What I want the program to do is, when I plug in a USB drive into my PC, I want it to automatically, and without prompting, to make a full backup of all files within the device, doesn't matter the extension, size, etc. That is, of course, with a background process that doesn't reveal progress or anything to the user (well, maybe a tray icon is OK).

That would be a BA type of program.
Plug in to a PC at work and grab everything.
At school, get all student records.
Hubby or BF, see all contacts.
Why can I believe that remark about evil intentions?

You won't find anything like that here, especially when you say:

I want the program to be in MY PC, so that whenever someone plugs a USB into it, contents are copied from the USB to the PC... So it's not BA

 

Still not a good idea to copy other peoples files, even if plugged into your machine.
Could destroy friendships, marriages, result in invasion of privacy charges.

 

I am afraid you are not making any sense. If you want to back up files, you can, without any problems.However, I am trying , really, to figure out what exactly you are looking for. Just doesn't even sound legal. As hrlow2 has pointed out, what you are asking, can have some very nasty consequences...

As TeeCee mentioned why not just hit the back ? It sounds as if that is what you are talking about, or are you looking for a program that will do an automatic back up for you? What was the name of this expensive program so we can get an idea as to what you are looking for.
