software to normalize a lot of mp3s

    Does anyone know of any software that will take my MP3 collection and normailize them all? -I'm looking to avoid converting to .WAV and then re-encoding to MP3. -I have over 6000 MP3 files that I would like to get all to the same playback volume.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    MP3gain will do what you need. Here is a link to the author's site. http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net I didn't see it here at MG at this time. If I missed it, my apologies.
