    Hey there, :wave

    Not sure if this is a software or hardware question so my apologies if it needs to be moved.

    I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for a 3rd party software that will reformat an external hard drive from NTFS to Fat32.

    OS = Windows 7 Pro

    Hard drive will be Western Digital, either 1TB or 1.5TB

    Thanks.

    Keep in mind with fat32 you can't have any one file larger then 4 gigs on the drive.

    Thanks for the responses.

    Swiss Knife seems to be the "go to" software for this but I stalled after reading that it would only recognise approx 430gb regardless of the actual size of the HD.

    After reading the rest of the comments on that site it looks like it might work if I format to NTFS first with windows and then switch over to Swiss Knife to reformat to Fat32.

    Geez, hassle much ?

    Thanks again.
