software to remove blanks

    Hi,
    Does anyone know if there a freetool to download that can remove blanks in files names?

    For example it should rename 'phot o1.jpg' to 'photo1.jpg'

    Hi

    While this can be done with batchfiles and with creating a rule for the likes of PFrank which I like, sadly those methods are messy and not simple.


    This one is easy, get yourself BatchFile Renamer once installed and run,

    Step 1 , locate the folder with files you wish to change
    Step 2 , Click the dropdown and choose the setting I have.
    Step 3 , Click Start

    Click Yes to the next menu as this just allows you to see the resulting filenames before they are renamed.

    Here you will see the Old and New filenames, if they are what you want then click OK
