My Sygate firewall indicates that the "solitaire game applet" is trying to contact some website. When I refuse it, it shuts down any browser I try to use. Chrome, Firefox and IE all the same. If this applet is so innocuous, why does it have such power over my computer? Should I be concerned?

What is the exact "solitaire game applet" you reference and what website is it trying to contact?

My firewall calls it "Solitaire Game Applet version 5.1.2600.0", and as I was playing a WinXP solitaire game at the time, I assume it's a Windows applet, though a hard drive search shows nothing.

The website it wanted to contact wasn't named, just a DNS address.

I can't reproduce this problem right now, all works fine presently.
