i think it would be good to be able to have a button to click on a thrad you started when the problem is solved and it would show on the thread list as something like a green checkmark so people would see that people without the checkmark still require help

im no programmer and wouldent know how to do that but for the admins i hope than can consider it. it would minimize alot of confusion

Don't know if it's possible in vBulletin, although I've seen forums where users can close there own threads when finished with.

By staying it could be a reference for someone else with a similar problem

 

Doesn't necessarily need to be deleted, just closed. Most of the time, members are encouraged to start a new thread of their own rather than dig up an old thread.
