Some games I made

Well I downloaded game maker again, which is quite the awesome program. Its like visual basic but designed for making games.

XPong is quite addictive if you find yourself bored and someone else is around. Bounce back isn't finished but i doubt u'll beat level 1. and street racer came with it, but i modded it adn put nos in it. I'm working on making a new game like pong but its soccer, and u have to get the ball in the goals instead of just on the other side. Should be fun.

 

GAME MAKER?
Why did i spend so much time trying to make games with flash when there is a program like this? i just finished downloading it...

as for your games, i have to download them first. I got dial-up..

No need, i've tried 'bounce back'. It's actually quite good because i've tried Game maker and it's not as easy as i thought it was...

 

Bounce back isn't finished yet believe it or not, and there was a newer version like i said that got deleted. it took me about a week to make it. but then again theres other games that are easier to make like that soccer pong game which only took two days.

 

i tried the soccer pong game. It is a pretty simple game but not bad if there is someone to play with. Where's the score??

I should start making simple games like that first...

EDIT: Haha.. tried xpong. That was your voice, wasn't it? "Player 2 wins!"

 

i was just playing xpong and the ball was going so fast i lost it can you find the ball lol

 

another glitch in the game engine. If you get it going fast enough, it will disappear. I never bothered to fix it because it was out of my control so I had no idea how to. But if you are playing someone and it gets going that fast, your pretty good.

 

you need to make the pads go faster they are way to slow

 

hey.. i haven't been at MG for a while. i've been toying with game maker. great program, Neo. I made a game similar to xpong...

this is a stupid question.. but how can i host the file like u did, neo??

Cool, im working on learning the game maker scripting language or w/e so i can make AI for the pong game. hopefully it will turn out ok.

 

hithere: heres a good pdf that gets you started with a first game. it shows u step by step how to make ur first game, and i went back and did it and learned some tips and stuff. its quite useful.

Just an FYI for you budding game developers, PopCap has released is developer program open source. You can make games with it for free and with very little restriction. It looks interesting to me.
