Well All Of the Sudden i get messages saying"The instruction at "0x636e3156" referenced memory at"0x0111c090". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program"

On the top of the window it says a program like firefox.exe, sethc.exe, preupd.exe, rundll32.exe or any program that i open!

thanks in advance see picture for more details! i posted in software but got no help and i thought it had to do with memory so i went here!see http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=153175 for the image attached! i really need to help!

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=472109&highlight= (this is to a Firefox forum about this error. It has MANY pages so start at the end for the most current info)

From what I can tell, it's a problem with older (MUCH older) versions of Firefox. I would try removing your current Firefox installation, run CCleaner on both the hard drive and registry, reboot, and install the newest version from here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Mozilla_Firefox_d2248.html This was released just over 3 weeks ago... there is a newer beta if you're interested here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Mozilla_Firefox_Beta_d5905.html Here's a link to a 'how-to' guide for removing Firefox. Pay especially close attention to the "Clean Uninstall" section....

Good luck, welcome to Major Geeks, and let us know how things go.

BTW- I found tons of stuff by Googling "XPCOM:Event Receiver"

Its not just for Firefox, it's for every single program i run, if i open it and then close it i will get an error message, no matter what program it is!

have you played around with your virtual memory settings, used a software system optimizer or have you had anyone one else play with your PC and, "how should I say" tweak it for you?

No i have not played with that and no person was on my computer. The only thing that i could think of is the registry, but it was through ccleaner or it was manual(but if i do it manual and am 100% positive i can delete it, but this was a while ago)mostly ccleaner!i did uninstall threatfire a few days ago and about 12 hours after that thats when it happened but i don't think a program could effect every program on my computer, EVERYTHING I OPEN AND CLOSE I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE, EVERYTHING!

Have you tried doing this yourself?

Also, someone above mentioned it, and I was thinking about it when I read your post for the first time a few days ago, but running a deep extended memory diagnostic might be a real good idea.... memory can go from running great to flakey for no apparent reason: static discharge, power spike or fluctuation, anything.....
