some OCing ?'s

    first.. i have an athlon 64 3500 and a asus a8v delux and patriot systems pc-4000 ram timings r 3-4-4-8

    first is that good ram?
    second...can someone help me overclock i no every asks this but like sum1 make a simple guide lke first fsb and then voltage or something?
    can someone help me like do it...like an in depth OC


    sry every1 else was asking so what the heck y cant i

    I'm pretty sure the multiplier is locked on those chips so the only easy way to increase your MHz is by increasing the FSB. You may have to change a jumper on the mobo to enable this - check your manual. In the BIOS settings you should be able to increase your FSB - yours is at 166 (333) or 200 (400)? Increase this by 2Mhz - reboot, make sure the system is stable (run 3DMark a few times), reboot, increase, test - until it either fails to boot or fails the testing.
    Always keep your eye on the CPU temp (asus probe on my system).

    There's more to it after that - increasing core voltage etc., but just fiddle at that - should keep you busy for a day ;)
