You'll have to log into the router and turn off the wireless. If you don't know the password to your router, you'll have to give your provider a call.

Is it the wireless side he is connecting to on your router or is he connected by a wire ( ethernet / Cat5e cable )?

If Wired, just pull his connection out of back of router.

If Wireless, then set a WEP or WPK security encryption setting on your router, that way only wireless PCs with this code can connect.

    Some info on Wireless Security
    http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html

but basically set a WEP or WPK encryption code on your router and apply it, make a note of what the code is, you can generally generate a random one or type a phrase of your own, then with your wireless PC, try to connect to your wireless connection, you will be prompted for the security code, type of copy and paste it into the box and connect.

    a guide for you

BUT also consult your routers instruction manual.

As both myself and jconstan have mentioned you will need to access your routers control panel ( generally through a browser window ) with the IP address they supply and the user and password ( user/password, depends on if you have set one up or if not then its the default one listed in your manual ).

Which model router is it, makers name and model number?

or better still as I went searching... this info from you ISP will help http://netservices.verizon.net/portal/site/msa/index.jsp?case=c26414 as its a step by step guide to entering the maintanence settings of your modem/router and setting the SSID and WEP key.

Dont adjust anything other than the above listed settings, unless you know what your changing..... also do Change your Admin Password ( mentioned in first section ~ VersaLink gateway password )from the default one as your neighbour maybe able if sneeky enough, will be able to access your routers settings.
