Okay....so, just this morning -and MULTIPLE times in the past- I kept hearing the background music of an engagement in Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced -I would hear any kind of BGM from any game I had played- for GBA. I'd hear it at my computer chair just sitting down. I was listening to music and I just heard it. It also sounded like someone was playing it because of the clicking sound the game makes when choosing decisions and stuff.

I thought my cousin was playing it, but my game is on the couch beside me. I went to investigate and went upstairs to where the sound SEEMED to be coming from, but right after I took a stood up and before I had taken 2 steps, the music died, BGM stopped the sound effects stopped.

It had disappeared, there was just me and my music I was playing.

I went back to me seat and sat down again listening to my music and it just came back again! Once I decided that I would write about this on here it just stopped.

So has anyone ever had this happen to them?
    and
Is there anything do do about this?
    and
Could this have been happening becasue of playing for many hours and/or turning the volume too high?

There is a kind of natural phenomenon which allows distant noises to be carried on the envelope of closer, louder noises and I suspect this is what was happening here.

I've experienced it out in quiet countryside where a nearby tractor engine should have drowned the more distant sounds of a conversation yet I could hear both sides of the conversation quite clearly.

A few years later, I took a 'phone call regarding some strange 'interference' recorded during a voiceover for a movie. The 'interference' only happened during the louder parts of the voiceover - the microphone was not picking up the extraneous sounds until the narrator spoke. The recording was being made in a 'sound-proof' studio and the noise was, I think, being transferred via the concrete floor.

There's a similar oddity well known to users of Ham radio where for instance, things like vacuum cleaners in nearby homes act as loudspeakers because the radio waves 'break through' poorly grounded or otherwise faulty equipment on the recipients side.

Or, you are going mad ... LOL

Only thing I've experienced after long gaming sessions is seeing the game when I close my eyes, racing games like Gran Turismo are the worst for this,I have music playing in my head all the time:-D but its obvious its in my head and not outside.

I think the most likely cause is a neighbours TV or another piece of audio equipment in the house causing you to think your hearing something in the distance then your brain filling in the blanks to make your believe your hearing a tune you recognise.

Other than that your going nuts lay of the PCP.

Hey! Don't make fun of him.
Me and my friend are ghost hunters, and we deal with this kind of stuff on a daily basis. Not definately saying it's paranormal, but try taking an EVP. Use any voice recorder, or a microphone with a recording program, or a boombox with a tape. See if it shows up on the audio. If it does, then you can consider it paranormal. Otherwise, you might just be crazy :D ;) jk.
