I just fell into that house GT. The area was ok and the price was right, and my dad said buy the house or you're going to college this fall. That part of Portland never really went down hill and now is real popular with people moving into town since it's only about 2 miles from downtown.

Interior is comfy. I love the performance package. sticky 40 series tires, taught, but not brutal suspension, QUICK handling, 245 hp & only 2900 pounds give it a nice power/weight ratio. I can embarrass a (non-Cobra) Mustang GT easily. 23 MPG city & 28-30 on the road, which ain't too bad for a quick car. First car I've had with a real back seat in years, but it's a driver's car.

 

This is DEFINITELY an ADD thread and the most posting I've done in a long time... I've posted more in the last 48 hours than I have in the past year!

Yes, this is just innocent stuff. Both of you know that you are married and that it's just "play talk," so it is just goofing around. My ex used to "play flirt" with older women all the time to make their day (not saying you are older, I don't know your age) and I would just sit back and giggle. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world! Neither of you are doing anything I would disapprove of if I were attached to either of you.

LOL. I'm missing that same gene. I married fairly young, was married for 23 years, and by the time I was "in the market" again, flirting and dating seem like something from another life. Somebody ELSE'S life. I can talk with just about anybody, but it always just stays friendly.

Yeah, kinda. That's what has kept me awake. Long story, but I'll make it short:

1) He is a workaholic who is borderline verbally abusive.
2) I actually WORK for this man too, so it makes things SO complicated. I am having to write an ad for someone to take my place and then train whoever I hire. (I don't sound so selfish if I am willing to do this, do I?) His business cannot run without me...
3) We haven't lived in the same house for months now so we are separated...

Anyway, that is 50% of what is wrong, other 50% is that I lost 5 good friends (4 to death and 1 has been missing since October) in the space of 3 years.

I'm not trying to whine though. I just want to get this phase of my life over with and move onto the next...

Ugh, just the thought of being in the market again. I was married for 15 years and we parted on good terms. Still good friends to this day. Don't care for the bar scene, girls looking for sugardaddy's ( Believe me, I've met a few, why I don't know), and women looking for a father to their kids. I've been in and out of the same relationship the past couple of years. I think I'll just sell homes and do woodworking. Maybe become a priest or something. Nah, like the opposit sex too much.

Hang in there; there's light at the end of the tunnel. Stayed married to a VERY abusive wife for 23 years (I was somewhere between stupid and crazy). We're talking thrown objects and having to take knives & scissors away from her from time to time... sleeping alone because I didn't trust her enough to go to sleep toward the end.

Been free for almost 10 years, and doing fine. See my score in the happiness thread. Of course, having been through hell does tend to make one appreciate what one has.

When you say you've been "free" I can really relate, in wanting to be free- not having him criticize any friends I make, not having him reduce me to tears... I could go on and on. I also want to remain free (after I get there) for some time as I don't trust my choices in a partner right now. Of course it will be complicated, but many others have done it (like yourself.)

No, you're not missing a gene. Either out of practice, or just very shy, or both. You're still fairly young (compared to me, at least ) and quite pretty. You'll do OK.

You'd never know it to watch me gab around here, but I've always been shy in person. Can talk just fine once introduced, but slow to just go up to somebody and start things rolling. It's not a terminal illness though. Both of managed to land a mate once, albeit, not the best choices. Can happen again.

If genes are all you need, Wranglers are on sale at WalMart.
