    Hi and welcome :)

If you suspect malware you should ensure that you have followed thru all of the below. In order for me to help you I will need to see the four requested logs, those being:

    • SUPERantispyware
    • Malware Bytes
    • ComboFix
    • Mglogs.zip

    Thanks
    Kes

    Kes,
thanks for your reply. i attempted to run the four things you suggested, and have run into a few problems. when trying to download mgtools, i kept getting a error message, i could not get by. the error message read - - -
    error:key:.default\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\system does not exist!
    Access Denied!
not sure how to get by this. i ran the other programs, but no matter what i tried, i was not able to copy the logs to paste. can you tell me how to do that and what to do about the errror i am recieving. thanks, mike

Hi there and apologies for the delay.

Why are you trying to copy and paste the logs? Just curious because you should simply be able attach them, which means not posting inline.

For how and where to retrieve the logs see the below:

    SUPERAntiSpyware - running & getting a log

    Using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

The R&R states to ignore any error messages received whilst running MGTools.exe:

See Error messages section in this post Using MGtools

Log from running this should be sat right on your C Drive C:\Mglogs.zip
    Log from running Combofix C:\combofix.txt

Let me know how you get on.
    Kes
