Someone may be spying on me

    Since I am basically a neophyte when it comes to computers, is there an easy check to see if someone has put something on my computer to track my internet wanderings?

    I do have webroot spysweeper installed and don't seem to have any problems with the operation of my computer, I just want to know if someone is spying on me.

    I thank you in advance for any help.

    PS. I am a 50 year old so it's not like I am trying to hide something from my parents! ;)
