Someone Please Help ME!! Going nuts

Hello,

I have been working on this for too long, I think I need acpi control method battery drivers but I cant find them anywhere....I formatted my notebook (dell Inspiron 700m) and now my battery is no longer recognized. No meter nuthin just randomly shuts off...I need help please.

 

Have you checked for, and downloaded all the drivers from Dell?

Check it here - and find your service tag number from the decal on the machine - it will help narrow the search results.

The battery control after the machine boots is all Windows, and if installed, the Dell utilities. Any before boot is in the bios. Are you sure the battery is good?

Ya already installed all 62 drivers dell has to offer...nuthin. Positive the battery is good, it used to work before format and it still works now just not recognized. My comp thinks its being powered by ac even on battery. All battery meters show nothing either.rolleyes

I'll have to look at a couiple of my Dells at work tomorrow to see what the battery settings are in the Control Panel, in the Dell stock settings, and such.

Man this sucks but it helps when you got someone trying to help you out.
I appreciate it. You know, I think it might have something to do with ACPI drivers I think I read that somewhere They might not be installed, but I can't find an active download link anywhere.

 

Still cant find the drivers. anyone else think they can help?
